Matthew joined HURST Corporate Finance in September 2021 and has since qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the ICAEW. As a Corporate Finance Manager he provides advice and support for a wide range of businesses across the North West and beyond, helping to guide clients through their transactions and support them every step of the way.
I love my role because...
I get to work with a wide range of businesses and people, and no two deals are ever quite the same. I enjoy getting under the skin of a business, understanding what matters to the shareholders and helping them navigate what is often a significant point in their lives. I also work with a very experienced team, so there is always someone to learn from and plenty of opportunity to take on more responsibility.

The team. It is a close-knit group where people genuinely enjoy working together and are always willing to help each other out. There is also a lot of trust within the team, which means you are given responsibility and the opportunity to develop quickly.
